Share the love: daily card gifting comes to Pokémon TCG Pocket
Give one card per friend per day—no tokens, no stamina, just generosity
Trading in Pokémon TCG Pocket runs on Stamina and Tokens. Sharing doesn’t. On October 30, 2025, the app added a Share feature that lets you gift one card per friend per day—no trade stamina, no trade tokens, no rarity-matching rules. You pick a friend, pick a card (from ♦–♦♦♦♦ rarity), and send it. They can receive up to one card per day through this feature; you can send one to each friend, every day.
How the Share feature works
- You can give: One card per friend per day.
- Eligible cards: ♦–♦♦♦♦ rarity (including cards from the latest expansion).
- They can receive: Up to one card per day via the Share feature (from any friend).
- Cost: No Trade Stamina, no Trade Tokens—just the card you choose to give.
The feature is designed for generosity, not economy. It’s a way to help a friend finish a set, surprise someone with a card they’ve been chasing, or just pass along a duplicate without going through the full trade flow. Because it’s daily and per-friend, it doesn’t replace trading—it complements it.
Why it landed on the first anniversary
The Share feature launched alongside the first anniversary of Pokémon TCG Pocket and the Mega Rising expansion. The message was clear: the game had hit 150 million downloads in part because of community—people collecting together, trading, and now giving. Letting players gift cards once per friend per day reinforced that vibe without unbalancing the economy.
A small feature, a big gesture
Share doesn’t change the meta or introduce new card types. It just lets you be nice. For a game built on collecting and connection, that’s the kind of update that makes the community feel a little more human. So share the love—one card, one friend, one day at a time.
